Overview
Team Strategy is a very important part of Onmyoji. Having a well-synergized team works wonders in either PVP or PVE. Below are some of the recommended team builds that are commonly used in current state of the game.
Conservative F2P |

The Conservative F2P set up is best for new Onmyoji players to get establish a footing in the game and gives the players an idea of the roles in a team.. Giving that F2Pers generally would not have great pulls in the beginning unless extremely lucky, this set up mainly makes up of R Shikigamis. |
Fire Rain |

The Fire Rain team’s core Shikigamis are of course Hououga and Ame Onna. This build is a crowd control build that takes advantage of Hououga’s CC skill as well as Ame Onna’s dispel and speed debuff. Of course, Souls have to be adequately level to climb the PVP ladder. |
Iron Fire |

Iron Fire is a variation of Fire Rain. This set up replaces Ame Onna with Tesso. The reason is simple. Tesso’s [Money Justice] is an AOE debuff, its speed is faster than that of Ame Onna, and that its normal attack and passive can also debuffs. This is a perfect match for Hououga. |
Farming Team |

The Farming Team focus on carrying as many fodders as possible to do Explorations. The reason is that monsters in Exploration missions offer Exp and Coin buffs. The goal is to have the main character (or with one good DPS) carry 3 fodders. Kagura is best for this purpose. |
Frozen Time |

Frozen Time is mainly used to farm Soul 10. It makes uses of multiple copies of AB support so that the enemies do not get a chance to act. The team requires multiple copies of Mountain rabbit and a steady flow of Orb. Speed and Sequence are the keys to success. |
