Soul

Example: Seductress/Claw/Tomb Guard/control soul x4 + HP or Crit x2

Position 2/4/6: ATK/ATK or Efft HIT/HP or Crit

Discussion:

Okuribito usually act as a DPS so attacking Souls such as Seductress and Claw make sense. His own damage is not that impressive so additional damage from Seductress is a big help.

Okuribito can also use control souls and act as a cc unit. He attacks twice after an enemy acts so there is a chance he can control 2 units at a time.

It’s best if he can get some SPD otherwise he may not even be able to use Coffin of White Roses. I would also give him some RES so his attack would not be interrupted. He has a big RES buff so some RES should be enough.

Sample Team

Hakuzosu, SP Hannya, Ungaikyo, Okuribito, Hiyoribo, with Yao Bikuni

This team’s main damage output is Okuribito withe the other four to keep him alive and free of obstacles. In theory, Okuribito should do well again the high rotation teams that takes alot of turns.

Shikigami Comparison

He’s role is similar to many other Shikigamis that can attack outside own turn. Examples include Miketsu and Higanbana.

Compare to Miketsu, his attack lacks the status effect to inflict on enemies. Compare to Higanbana, he attacks at the end of the turn, which is less useful in terms of control. Higanbana can nullify enemy turn by controlling them before they act.

Acquisition

Summon, Demon Parade

Wanted Quest

Sample Gameplay

I don’t think I would do a gameplay on him anytime soon lol.  Unless he gets a skill upgrade.

Verdict

In all honesty, Okuribito hasn’t fit in too well with the game’s meta since his release. There might have been a time when he was usable but he is now pretty much forgotten.

This is justifiable since he is not impressive enough to take over the meta DPS and control right now. I would say he can still be used from time to time as a surprise but definitely not worth the resources right now.
