Position 2/4/6: SPD and ATK/HP/Crit depending on use and team SP Shuten Doji is offensive and support orient and he usually uses three Souls. SP Shuten with Shadow is a beast. In low HP, he has the ability to one-shot less tanky enemies without Hakuzosu (or two-shot with Haku). If you lack damage in your team, Shadow SP Shuten is a huge asset. Azure Basan and Fortune Cat are the other two popular souls for him. These souls provide SP Shuten with some utility while sacrificing a bit of damage. If SP Shuten are the one you use all the time, put Azure Basan on him so you’ll always have enough orbs in the beginning. SP Shuten yearns for speed since he can push enemies back by 40% of their move bar, the highest amount in the game. Using SPD in slot 2 is pretty much a universal consensus. Slot 4 and 6 can vary between HP, ATK, and Crit. Depend on the team set up, various combination are possible. If you want SP Shuten as a source of damage, use ATK and/or Crit. Using HP is actually a good idea too. While it may look like SP Shuten do little damage with SPD/HP/HP, this is not the case in the end game. He’s very tanky in this set up. Ultimately, SPD is probably most important to him. |

This is the most effective team in ranking up Duel scores. If Orochi can act first, you should be able to win 90% of the time. Orochi would pull Kujira, who in term pulls the whole team. Onikiri should be able to attack twice with Kagura and should be able to seal the win. Of course, for this to work, Hakuzosu needs to be banned. |

| None. SP Shuten is a top tier Shikigami that can form his own system. He is immune to controlling effects, able to push enemies back, recover HP, and does ton of damage. There really isn’t any Shikigami that has comparable skills |

Verdict |

| If you do PvP, then getting him and leveling him up should be your goal. He was another meta changing Shikigami ever since Shiranui release.
He also has PvE use when partnering up with Kuro so added bonus. One thing to note is that he’s heavily relying on Passive Skill so be very careful when he gets sealed. SP Hannya is a popular counter against him so make sure you have a way to counter. Lastly, don’t hesitate to feed him all 12 Black Darumas, he’ll make a big difference in your PvP and PvE game. |
