| Evolution Ability | Enhance [Teeth Armor]: Create a Teeth Armor on an ally. When the ally acts, Teeth Armor summons a whale to do AOE True Damage equal to 12% of enemies’ respective HP, capped at 100% of protected ally’s ATK. Teeth Armor disappears after triggering 3 times and raises the Move Bar after the protected ally acts (does not stack with Body Armour). True Damage ignores DEF and does not trigger critical hits. Position 2/4/6: SPD/ATK/HP or ATK Discussion: Bake-kujira is a strange shikigami in that he is really a DPS but does not really benefit from offensive souls due to his skills. Bake-kujira often use support type Souls to provide the team with more utility. The only offensive soul he would use very well is Soultaker, which increases the chance of calling forth an additional AOE. Positioning is more important for Bake-kujira than what soul he uses. Bake-kujira are usually fast so SPD in slot 2 is given. Slot 4 and 6 are usually either HP or ATK. Depending on team set up, Bake-kujira may need more HP. In fact, I would say the current meta favours Bake-kujira with some HP for survivability. |

Orochi, Otakemaru, Bake-kujira, Bake-kujira, Shiranui, with Kagura Bake-kujira is really deadly in numbers. The four Bake team were once dominating in PvP. Since then, there has been various teams that based on having multiple Bakes as main source of damage. Single Bake-kujira is usually in a support role. |

| While not really a must have, Bake-kujira is really useful in PvP.
If you are not sure what Shikigami to pick in a duel, just go for Bake-kujira. Bake is pretty universal in many situations so I would suggest building at least one. If you are into Bake teams, definitely have more than one. Preferrably have 3 or 4 equipped with different souls so you can choose depending on situations. Bakes are countered by healers. Seawatch Kingyo is a hard counter. If you don’t have this SP unit, having two healers such as Sakura and Hiyoribo can often deal with multiple Bake. Multiple Bake can also plow through some harder PvE contents like secret zones. I would not suggest using Black Daruma on him if you are low on resource. He’s no longer as dominating since there have been effective counters out there. |
